Sony systems recieving Android 3.1 updates Today

Last week we brought you some news that the Honeycomb update for Google TV products would start rolling out to devices early this week. As luck wold have it, they stuck to their word. Today people with Sony products that have the Google TV integration are starting to receive their updates. It should be rolling out for the GTV Blue-RAy players and internet connected TV’s. Moving you from the lesser impressive UI and setup you have been struggling to love to the Honeycomb 3.1. Offering a much better UI and that all important Android Market access.

Those of us that are not rocking a Sony product (Logitech Revue) will have to keep on waiting just a little bit longer. Our update should also be arriving this week at some point. I know I am really excited to get on it and see what all I can do with my GTV.
