The rumored release date for the Sony Xperia Play is nothing more than a a shot in the dark, especially when so many have fell through with other Verizon devices. A screenshot of the Playstation phone as seen on the Walmart website suggests that we could be seeing it ship very soon. The rumored date is set for May 26th, and with given the leaked Verizon guide featuring the Xperia Play this rumor seems to be a little easier to believe.
