T-Mobile finally announces Samsung Galaxy Note, launching with Ice Cream Sandwich

It looks like we missed a nice little press release that T-Mobile published on their site yesterday afternoon. We caught the little tweet that went out which gave a little more official confirmation the Note was coming, but we wanted a press release. We actually got one finally. It doesn’t offer pricing or release dates, but does confirm the specs and some additional features. You will get all the glory that is the Note and a Qualcomm S3 dual-core 1.5GHz processor. Same camera, same S Pen apps and all the other goodies you have been drooling over for ages. It will be ready to rock out of the box with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Don’t forget, T-mobile will be adding in the usual amount of bloatware like T-Mobile TV and such. They are also adding in what they call the T-Mobile 4G Pro App Pack. This pack will include what they consider to be key applications to help your get the most out of the Note for business and home life. It will be pre-loaded with Dropbox, Evernote, Square, TripIt, CamScanner and LinkedIn.

As for release dates, rumors say August 8th. The press release sates

The Samsung Galaxy Note is expected to be available at select T-Mobile retail stores and online via www.T-Mobile.com in the coming weeks.

So August is looking like a likely time frame for it to finally launch. Usually we paste in the Press release for you to look through, but this thing is huge. So if you want to take a gander at what else T-mobile has to say about their upcoming Galaxy Note, head over to T-Mobile’s Newsroom.
