T-Mobile Makes a not so Public Rebuttal to Verizon’s Latest LTE Service Claims

As with all great marketing campaigns, there are two sides to every story. In our case I do believe we are at four sides right now. That could always change. I am waiting for Cricket to ‘jump’ on board and offer a 5G service or something. It looks like T-Mobile very efficiently made changes to the internal employee system to help them combat the inevitable battle with customers asking about LTE and Verizon’s latest claim to “the most advanced 4G network in the World”. It’s a good thing too, from being an ex-employee of the company I can tell you first hand there will be a lot of customers that will want to cancel for that silly statement.

Looks to me like T-Mobile is playing it cool on this one. They will stand behind their marketing campaign of “Americas largest 4G coverage.” They are still on track to cover 200 million people with 4G service before the year ends as compared to Verizon’s 110 million. We will still see improvements to the network next year pushing the theoretical 42Mbps limit. So as usual the ads are more fun for the informed to watch than the average consumer.
