Not being a Verizon customer, nor owning a DROID X, I find it a little difficult to understand what you guys have to go through to root your phones. So many steps and so many files, it’s madness really. Which is why I personally would never switch carriers or ever buy a Motorola device.
What I can understand though is how hard it is to search the web and find the perfect tutorial that breaks things down in English (meaning, not overly techie) and offers a step-by-step guide for your device. That’s where Sysadmin-x from RootzWiki comes in. Rather then say “do this, then do that and you are done”, he offers a complete guide to all things DROID X. He covers such topics as –
