US Galaxy S III variants get universal toolkit, one simple tool for all your root Needs

It is no surprise that the flagship Samsung Galaxy S III is a hot topic and a hot device. Everyone and their dog wants one or already has one. For many, the device is amazing just how it is when they turned it on the first time. For other, well, root and custom mods, ROM’s and other goodies are more your style. To get those goodies you need a way to root the device, install custom recoveries and get to work. That task isn’t always the easiest to achieve. With a helping hand from XDA developer mskip 3 of the 4 US Galaxy S III device’s have one simple tool available. Verizon is out of the loop of course since their bootloader is on lock down.

Backup/Restore a single package or all apps, user data and Internal Storage
Backup your /data/media (virtual SD Card) to your PC for a Full Safe backup of data
Perform a FULL NANDROID Backup of your system via adb and save in Custom Recovery format on your PC
Pull /data and /system folders, compress to a .tar file and save to your PC
Backup/Restore your /efs partition
Dump selected Phone Partitions, compress to a .zip file with md5 and save to your PC

The toolkit is designed for T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint models of the device and aimed at the Snapdragon S4 processor. There is one out for the international Galaxy S III, be sure you get the right one for your device though. Anything you do to your device that results in thermal nuclear war, a dead cat or any other mischief or mayham is all on you.
