In a perfect world when a manufacturer had a software update ready for a specific device, it would just become available. Unfortunately we don’t live in a perfect world. Simply put, that means highly anticipated updates can sometimes be staggered between carriers by weeks and even months. For those of you on Verizon with a HTC One M8, I am happy to let you know that Android 5.0 Lollipop has begun its roll out.
Just like every other Lollipop update you can expect the all the cool animations, card-based multi-tasking, lock screen notifications and plenty more to poke about with. The update also brings along Band 4 roaming capabilities as well as 3-way calling enhancements. So, go grab your device, make sure you have well over 50% battery life, some time to kill and a solid Wi-Fi connection.
