If you have ever used an HTC device and their infamous FriendStream widget application. Many people love it, others can’t stand it. With Android we always have other options than what the carriers or OEMs pre install for us. I have seen many requests from around the web asking for an app similar to FriendStream. XDA developer kamma has been working on his version of this widget for some time. He has just updated the app again on August 9th. He added RSS reader, stream chooser and a few various bug fixes. It works really well and looks great –
 
The purpose of this application is to show status updates (SocialStream Widget) and publish simultaneously statuses for both main social networks – Facebook and Twitter.
Prerequisities:
Scrollable widget supporting launcher: Launcher+, ADWManager, Go Launcher, Zeam Launcher, My LauncherLauncherPro no longer supported (weak scrollable widget support) – you can still use version 1.3.1 for LauncherPro
