There has been talks of a new update rolling out for the Motorola XOOM’s today that moved the build number up to HTK75D. The update doesn’t have a change log associated to that anyone has been able to find, we assume it has some bug fixes and other various tweaks included. There is one bit of goodness that has been determined from it though, the new Android market is included. That is right, that fancy pants market that handsets received about a week ago is being pushed out to the XOOM. You will have full lanscape support, in-app reviews system and the magical +1 button now available.
That may or may not excite you, but is a pretty big deal. From what I read around the web, the market was a little behind on the Honeycomb tablets. I was unaware of this issue my self. For those of you with a WiFi XOOM keep an eye out for the update or pop into your Setting – About Tablet – System Update to see if you can hurry it along. If patience is not one of your virtues, or you are rocking a different tablet that you would like to update yourself, feel free to pick the market apk and install it now.
