ZUK Z2 with 5-inch display and Snapdragon 820 announced

Lenovo backed  ZUK has announced its ZUK Z2 Smartphone as promised. The Smartphone was teased many times on china’s social networking site weibo. It  has a 5-inch 1080p LTPS 2.5D curved glass display, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with ZUI 2.0 on top. In fact, the “small screen” is becoming a new trend in the mobile phone industry development currently, as the “one-hand operation” has gradually become the new mainstream mobile phone use, says ZUK.

Under the hood, the ZUK Z2 comes with the powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 2.15GHz. Coming to the camera department it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) with quick focus in just 0.1 seconds and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button that can unlock the phone in under 0.1 seconds. It has a 3500mAh battery with dual fast charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 that can charge the phone up to 80% in 1 hour. There will be 4GB of RAM on board and 64GB of internal storage as standard.

The ZUK Z2 comes in Black and White colors and is priced at 1,799 yuan (US$ 273). It will go on sale in China on June 7th and registrations for willing buyers begins today.
