Adobe Flash Player 11 updates in the Play Store

Anyone remember when Adobe Flash Player was pretty much a mandatory install on Android to do stuff of the web? We sure do, that was a long time ago. Then came the freak out session of people after hearing they wouldn’t be making updates to support ICS. That didn’t last long, but Adobe did say that any Android version after ICS would not be supported. That doesn’t surprise us much, with many browsers already supporting flash anyways and new technology making the need for an additional install a moot point. For those that still heavily rely on the application, Adobe has released an update to the app today.

The update moves it to version 11.2 and stability fixes a performance improvements. There still seems o be some known issues that they are working on, so there is likely a few more updates to come in the future. If you are interested in the changelog and the current known issues, point your browser to Adobe’s release-notes.
