Android 4.0.4 now uploading to AOSP Repository

This is a great day for all the developers out there. Currently any ROM that you are running that is based on Android 4.0.4 comes from an update that is from another device. It was never a direct source build of the OS. Not that it ever stopped anyone from putting it together. Now those devs can get their hands on 4.0.4 ASOP source and build up from there with out all the other device garbage to clean out. While the news might not be all that big to some, we know CM9 is happy to have 4.0.4 source to integrate and work with. I am willing to bet we see some other developers out there get a little happy in their pants too.

According to the recent post by Jean-Baptiste Queru, the update is being pushed in as we speak. It should be fully available to all by 3pm PDT. Those of you that know what you are doing and what the heck it is all about, might want to head to Google Groups for all the info your little coding minds need.
