Chameleon launcher demoed on Nexus 7, set to hit Play Store in August

Back in May we brought you all a look at a new tablet home replacement app that was in the works on Kickstarter called Chameleon. In a nut shell it will automatically change your tablets layout based on time of day, GPS location and the type of connection you are on. It does a lot more than that and looks great doing it. Since May Chameleon has had a few ups and downs. All the pledges made to the company to bring the app to the world had to be canceled due to circumstances surrounding the employee that it was set up under and everyone had to re-pledge to a new page. A small annoyance, but the community responded well and got it back off and running. They have since met their goal and Chameleon is on its way to Android sometime in early August. Those that did the pre-ordering to help get it going will get their build a bit sooner than the rest of the world of course.

More recently though, the guys from Teknision have made another set of videos showing off the wonders of the Chameleon launcher running on a Nexus 7 tablet. Boy doe it look slick. Take a quick watch below.

Looking pretty slick to us. You still have some time to get in on the pre-order bandwagon at the Chameleon launcher webpage, it will only set you back $10. It looks to be well worth the money.
