Cox Communications is one of the leading cable TV, internet, and phone providers for many of us and the above image shows that they are set to launch a new Android application to the Android Market. COX customers in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Hampton Roads will soon be able to use their new application to:
- Access Cox Remote Guide Access service
- Remotely view their Cox Advanced TV program guide
- Schedule recordings on their DVR
Their Android app will be available for everyone, but will only benefit those markets listed above for now. COX is currently working on a mobile service, but are still trying to workout a few billing and software kinks until that project is a go. The application is due to drop sometime tomorrow, so if you’re in one of the above markets, be sure to let us know how it goes for you.
