Of the many ROMs available CyanogenMod is no doubt the most familiar and downloaded of them all. The shear amount of people that hang on the words from anyone mentioning a possible update is completely mind-blowing. In fact when release candidate one hit the demand was so great, a few servers were knocked of line by the shear amount of simultaneous connections.
Release candidate 3 is the newest of the bunch, bringing the improvements of Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and as well as enhancements made by the members of TeamDouche. The debut of this newest candidate simply means that a completely stable release is that much closer.
