Does Your Galaxy S Have This Bug?

We’ve all heard of the GPS bug that has been plaguing this device, but the guys over at XDA offered a temporary fix until Samsung can roll out an official fix. Apparently, a few Galaxy S devices are actually reseting when the device connects to a computer via USB. This issue is caused when a file extension exists with over 16 characters, once the file is deleted the issue is resolved. Why would a developer use a 16+ character file extension? Samsung has stated that there’s already a permanent fix in the works. In the video below, you’ll see exactly what is going on with the Galaxy S. Just a heads up, the video is in French.
