You might have seen a leak that we reported on last week which featured what looked like a very recent build of Android 4.4 KitKat running on a Nexus 5. What immediately caught most people’s eye, apart from the transparent notification bar and app drawer, was the funky wallpaper which we’ve been waiting to get a piece of since.
If you can’t wait until KitKat is released to get the wallpaper (potentially on Tuesday), you’re in luck as XDA member ALESSIO94x has whipped together an Android 4.4 Kit Kat wallpaper that looks eerily close to the one seen in the leaked photos as well as 4 icons, one each for the app drawer, phone, Google and Google Settings. If that red bar across the top doesn’t take your fancy and you want something slightly different, Kuci_06 from Reddit has mocked up a slightly different wallpaper which you get get here.
As a side-note, if you’re wanting to utilize the icons and you’ve never applied custom icons before, you’ll need a custom launcher app like Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher to get started.
