From not receiving notifications at all to receiving them too frequently, there are many common Android notification problems that users face. Luckily, there are also many solutions to these problems. In this article, we’ll discuss 16 common Android notification problems and how to fix them with helpful tips.
Turn on Notification Access If you’re not receiving notifications from a specific app, make sure that notification access is turned on for that app. To do this, go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications > App notifications. Select the app in question and make sure the toggle is turned on for Allow notification.
Turn on Do Not Disturb If you’re receiving too many notifications, turn on Do Not Disturb mode. This will silence all notifications except for calls and texts from your favorites. To turn on Do Not Disturb, swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the Do Not Disturb icon.
Customize Notification Sounds To easily identify which app is sending you notifications, customize the notification sounds for each app. To do this, go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications > Advanced > Sound. Select the app and choose the desired notification sound.
