Google announced they are ushering in the latest version of Google Groups today. The Google team says they have been working on improvements for Google Groups over the last year while keeping the old version running.
Google Groups manages email and discussion forums. You can search for groups that interest you, or make your own group and invite others to join.
One of the new features is an inbox for sharing information information with others within the group. Members can then manage email, assign items to each other and mark items resolved.
