Thanks to our trusted tipster, we have received a snapshot of the Huawei Ideos currently being tested at T-Mobile. The Huawei Ideos will ship with Android 2.2 and will be easy on the wallet. The Ideos will also feature a 2.8″ capacitive touchscreen, camera, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity. Huawei unveiled the Ideos at IFA in Berlin last week which was followed by rumors of T-Mobile possibly inking a deal to bring the device to the U.S.
There is no official word confirming that the device is coming to the States, but as you can see, T-Mobile has got their hands on it. The Ideos is definitely not a device for die-hard Android users, but the fact that it will be shipping with the latest Android firmware will give it a leg up on the available devices. We could probably expect this device to hit the market around the holidays for a very reasonable price.
Would anyone consider the Huawei Ideos just because it is running Android 2.2?
