I bet no one saw this coming. Huawei has taken the first leap into
Ice Cream Sandwich updates to their
Honor devices. Making them the first manufacturer to officially get a version to the masses. Granted the build is listed as a demo version, it is still available. Many would have expected the Nexus S to be the first device to get an actually update that wasn’t a custom ROM. The build is based on native Chinese, where the device resides, but it also supports all languages built into Android.
I know many users of the Honor overseas will be happy to hear the news and give it a go. You will want to head the Huawei’s web site to pick up the update. Let us know how it is running thus far.
