ICS being listed on Sprint page for Epic 4G Touch, CIQ still in Tow

We have all seen numerous reports of Samsung getting ready to launch an Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy S II. When a company with such a  large user base, and just as large device variations, makes an announcement like that we can’t help but wonder which devices they really mean. The update is most likely slated for overseas handsets first due to their devices being unlocked by default and not bloatwared up as bad as the stateside versions. However, it does look like the Sprint Epic 4G Touch is definitely on the list for ICS.

This comes from a RDF file that was linked via the XDA forums. In the document you can easily see that software number FB10 is named along with Android 4.0.3. You would need to wade through all the other garbage to actually see it. This is pretty great news for at least one of the four U.S. variants at least.

On a side note, something I noticed that none of the other sites seemed to have seen is the DiagnosticsClientVendor listing though. Looks like all the work Sprint has been doing to remove CIQ, or at least saying they have, isn’t gonna happen with the move to ICS. As you can clearly see in the screenshot below. What gives Sprint?
