While Verizon has yet to announced this world roaming, full-QWERTY slider it looks as if Motorola has taken it upon themselves to introduce the short-lived Motorola Droid 2 successor. I’m assuming that Verizon is going to wait a little longer before making the announcement as to not upset any of the customers who purchased the Motorola Droid 2 recently to avoid returns/exchanges, but that of course, is just my own speculation.
In the video below, Motorola unveils the Droid 2 Global unveiling two features among others, that is sure to impress many of you looking forward to world roaming capabilities due to the device’s dual GSM/CDMA bands and TI OMAP processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.
