KT Spider Android project transforms your device into a life Style

Continuing on with my previous post about the ASUS Padfone, I also came across another company on the cutting edge of simplifying your life and improving your life style. We have seen the docking stations for the Atrix, we have seen the Xperia Play and we have heard rumors of a tablet/phone hybrid coming from Samsung next week. Have you ever seen all of those rolled into one? I sure as heck haven’t, till now.

Korea’s KT spider concept will do everything you want and a whole lot more. The Android device is packing a 4.5″ 1280 X 800 display. A dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It functions just like any other Android device but it can also be the brain behind 3 accessories as well.

There is a laptop dock that allows you to dock the device and use your screen as the touch pad. Which is pretty darn cool, but not what really got me excited.

The company has a tablet dock as well. Allowing you to stick your device inside a 10″ tablet. Taking the 4.5″ screen and effectively blows the content up on the fully functioning tablet screen.

If that isn’t enough to make you go, “WOW”. The company also has a gaming dock. It looks like a Playstation portable with out a screen. Plop the Android device in the middle of the handheld dock to play all your favorite games and emulators.

Check out the videos that were taken during the IFA event this year of this awesome product.

The things I miss sometime. Many of you may find this to be old news, for that I am sorry. For those of you that are seeing some of this stuff for the first time, what do you think? Would it be worth investing in a complete line up that will cover all your needs at the rate the industry changes? Or is this more of a novelty genre that might not catch much steam?
