Last Horizon on Android is a minimal space exploration game from Noodlecake Studios

Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the- oh, my bad, let’s start over. If you’re looking for a mobile game that’s going to satiate your hunger for space exploration, you might not need to look further than Last Horizon on Android. It’s the work of one of our favourite mobile publishers around, Noodlecake Studios, and PixelJam Games, and it takes the form of a minimal (read: pixels) space exploration game where you pilot a tiny spacecraft – specifically “the last vessel of a fallen civilization” – planet hopping to refuel your ship in the hopes of finding the perfect new homeworld. Check out the launch trailer below for Last Horizon which is pretty much all gameplay footage:

It’s the type of game where deft fingers and calculated risk-taking will reap the most rewards – as long as you don’t get too near to the homeworlds of other civilizations. The price of admission is $2.99 USD which you’ll only have to pay once and no ad will ever show its face to you – if you’ve still got some Google Play credit lying around, perhaps you should be exploring the outer regions of known space.
