Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit free for Galaxy S II Owners

Not everyone is a fan of so-called ‘bloatware’. Most of the time we wish it didn’t exist. Other times we miss not having some of it around. Take for instance the Media Hub on the Galaxy S. It allowed me to stream my movies and music to my phone from my PC. I loved the UI and it worked great. Since flashing ROMs and finding nothing out there that I like, leaves a whole in my device. Another app that some people lose that they miss is Samsung’s custom app store. Even though the store doesn’t offer a whole lot, it has its perks. For instance, right now if you still have it, you can go download Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit for FREE to Galaxy S II owners.

I would say this title is much better than the previous Need for Speed shift. Hot Pursuit offers you three modes of play, normal career, time attack and hot pursuit.  Hot Pursuit mode is by far my personal favorite. This mode pits you against the cops and lets you deploy oil slicks and jamming. If you are like me though, you would much rather just run them off the road. You can take on the roll of the cops if that is more your style, deploying road blocks, EMP bursts and spike strips.

The FREE app is apparently restricted to certain regions and not showing up on all devices. If you have one that still happens to have the Samsung app store installed, pop on in and see if you can snag it before it disappears.
