New Military Grade Data Encryption developed for Android

The question of security has always been high on everyone’s minds for decades. If your data safe. Is your stored information protected. Now, AuthenTec says they have developed a new software that will help squash any of your concerns. Enter MatrixDAR for Android. It meets the insanely stringent requirements of FIPS 140 and is military grade encryption. It will help protect your sensitive information on your device and even on the micro SD card.

“Our new MatrixDAR offering gives smartphone and tablet OEMs the ability to easily integrate military-grade FIPS 140-certified encryption into their Android platforms to help meet the strict security policies that address the growth of BYOD,” said Dr. Simon Blake-Wilson, Vice President of AuthenTec’s Embedded Security Solutions.

The short of it, MatrixDAR helps prevent any unauthorized access to your data and will render your device useless if lost or stolen. Never hurts to be protected right? It is only available to OEM’s though, so don’t expect to download an app for it.
