NVIDIA Shield Is Now Available At GameStop Stores

nvidia shieldThe NVIDIA Shield was finally released last month to very underwhelming fanfare, and has been greeted with generally mixed reviews, though mostly with good conclusions for gamers. Unfortunately, up till now, the Shield has only been made available online from NVIDIA itself or Newegg.com, and this of course means shipping fees. NVIDIA has heard your frugal concerns and is making the Shield available at 500 GameStop locations across America.

If you’re having trouble finding a GameStop, for whatever reason, you can visit the NVIDIA site here where they will kindly direct you to the nearest place where you can deposit your moolah in exchange for a Shield. This roll-out follows the recent update that the Shield just received over the airwaves that allowed installing to SD Card, made improvements to Miracast and added games to the supported list for PC streaming.

And the Labour Day long weekend couldn’t come at a better time for those of you who are considering purchasing a NVIDIA Shield. Let us know if you are planning to get one, or maybe you’d like to tell us why you won’t be.
