As a parent myself, I know the importance of staying involved with my children’s lives. With technology moving forward at an alarming rate, their safety and innocence is constantly in danger. I know many of you have seen the news of kids getting caught sexting and sending compromising photos to their boyfriends etc. With an increased need for us to stay in touch with our children we have no choice but to get them cell phones. Luckily there is now an app for the parents to help keep a closer eye on our kids.
Kid tracker is an application developed by DLP Mobile. This application serves one simple purpose, forward a copy of all incoming SMS messages from your child’s phone to yours. Now you will be able to see what they are talking about on their device. Here is a little something from the developers:
SMS KidTracker utilizes backup and reroute technology, allowing parents to receive copies of their kids’ text messages. Parents can track the messages to make sure that nothing dangerous is getting sent to their kids’ phones. The app can be especially useful if parents are anxious about giving their child a phone for the firsttime.
Kid Tracker is also password protected which will keep the kids from unlocking the application or deleting it. So no worries of them removing it from their device. It also runs in the background with no notifications or alerts that it is even there.
