Rube Works, the Rube Goldberg game, is finally released on Android

rube works androidI’m a huge sucker for Rube Goldberg machines, mostly because I’m a geek, but also partly because they’re just damn cool and hypnotic to watch. So when I first heard about Rube Works, an officially licensed Rube Goldberg game, I got properly excited. While the game has been out on iOS for some time now, Android is finally getting its taste of Rube Works as it is available now on the Google Play Store for $1.99 (links below). For a better idea of how the game plays and what you’ll be getting up to, check out the trailer below.

It looks incredibly interesting with its varied environments and varied puzzles, but stay tuned for our review of Rube Works to find out how it actually is to play.

The Android version of Rube Works includes 18 humorous brainteasers to test your mental acumen as you use everyday objects to craft contraptions which in turn perform what normally would be routine tasks! Imagine the goal is to carve a turkey — and you have a penguin, a bucket, a rooster, a box of sand, a sea sponge, a seesaw and an ice cream maker to complete the task. How will you do it?
