T-Mobile starts pushing out Android 5.0 Lollipop to Galaxy S5

The long wait is over, for the most part, for Samsung Galaxy S5 users on T-Mobile. The Uncarrier is in the process of pushing out a OTA update to devices that carries with it Android 5.0 Lollipop. The update isn’t small by any means and weighs in at 939.59MB’s. You read that correctly, nearly 1GB.

Users might not notice anything immediately as the TouchWiz UI that overlays the device doesn’t change a heck of a lot. You will notice some new and more refined animations and various other little things across the device though.

The update began this morning, so you might have it available and not even know it. Head into settings > about device > software update. If it is available you will want to make sure you have a solid Wi-Fi connection available, well over 50% battery life and some time to kill for the whole process to complete. One could also use Samsung Kies to download and install the software via a computer if that is more your style. You can get Samsung Kies HERE

Enjoy!
