Amazon Prime Now launches in Austin Texas

The Amazon Prime Now service, the one that can get you daily essentials and more delivered in 1 to 2 hours from the time of ordering, is getting another location today. Amazon ha announced that Austin Texas residents are now in the mix. This marks the second Texas city to get access to the quick delivery service following a launch in Dallas just about a month ago.

“A few of the most popular items delivered through Prime Now in Texas since we launched in Dallas are Campbell’s Soup, bottled water and organic iced tea,” said Dave Clark, Amazon’s senior vice president of worldwide operations. “We know customers in Austin will love the opportunity to skip a trip to the store and get items delivered right to their door in under an hour.”

I can’t seem to find list of running zip codes where the Amazon Prime Now service is available for the area this time around. I ran 78720, 78701, 78703, 78704. 78705 and 78708 real quick through the Amazon Prime Now web page and all came back as serviceable. However, 78702 and 78709 were not. Be sure to check your specific home and work zip codes to make sure you land in the delivery zone.
