Ice Cream Sandwich update out for Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G

A software update to your device is always a nice way to start the day. Especially when it updates your Android version to Ice Cream Sandwich, Android 4.0.4. We know, you want Jelly Bean, don’t we all? At least those of you that have a Galaxy S Blaze 4G can get a taste of something newer and better at least. The ICS update, as far we can tell from T-Mobile Support, is an optional update that will only be available via Samsung Kies. So don’t expect a OTA to hit your device’s screen.

If you don’t have the Samsung Kies software yet, then you head over to Samsung’s website and pick it up. It is free software, but rather larger a good while to install. It is available for Windows PC’s and Mac’s. Make sure your device has well over 50% charge to it before you plug it into your computer. The Kies software should automatically look for updates and tell you one is available. If not, there is a button to push to check for updates. If you have any issues or would like more information about the update, head over to the Blaze 4G support page at T-Mobile.
